EVANGELISM

GOSPEL-MEDICAL EVANGELISM: 1891-1900 AND TODAY

Medical missionary work is the heart of urban evangelism, Isaiah 58, the loud cry, the manifestation of God's character, and some very interesting Adventist history. See the big picture of the past and future, and dip down into some of the exciting details of current developments. This work is to expand "until the whole earth is covered as the waters cover the see" (Medical Missionary p. 317).

DAVE FIEDLER taught and wrote for years about the lessons of Adventist history, but now has taken up what Ellen White called "the essential work for this time." He is currently the president of Adventist City Missions and lives with his wife, Clarissa, and daughter, Tifona, near Wichita, Kansas.

WITNESSING IN THE MARKETPLACE—WITHOUT BURNING BRIDGES

At times our "witnessing" burns the bridges needed to reach our work associates in the future. As a result, work time can become filled with uncomfortable silence. How can this be avoided? Further, how can someone who is "the boss" effectively witness to a subordinate? In this seminar, you will learn what Jesus did to overcome these types of obstacles. Christ was so effective that His Spirit-filled witness triggered a chain reaction that utilized common people to reach the world in one generation.

THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD

There's something greater, far greater, than the redemption of sinful humanity at stake in the war between Christ and Satan. This controversy has sweeping implications for the entire universe, and now, at this critical hour, God intends to reveal His "manifold wisdom... to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places" through His church on earth! This study will examine the theological foundations of the importance of revealing the character of Christ in practical ministry.

WAYFARE, BUSINESS, AND THE BEEHIVE

For nearly 150 years, Seventh-day Adventists have been entrusted with the last message of mercy to a perishing world. In spite of much preaching, the cities are still unwarned and the mission is yet before us. This seminar will discuss the church's message, the WayFare and Beehive mission, and the business model on which they are founded to accomplish the task given us by God. Interested in city work? This seminar is for you.

KELLY COFFIN became a Seventh-day Adventist several years ago as the result of medical missionary evangelism. After studying the message given to reach the cities, he and his family wholly committed themselves to the accomplishment of the mission outlined. He is the owner of WayMark and its subsidiary, WayFare, Inc., located in Bozeman, Montana. His company is the world's first comprehensive non-dairy creamery and food manufacturing model specifically designed to aid in the fulfillment of the Seventh-day Adventist mission.

JARED THURMON is a co-founder of Beehive International and co-owner of WayFare, Inc. in Bozeman, Montana. IT'S TIME...

CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER—A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER

Contemplative prayer is one of the most deceptive heresies Satan is using in these last days. Although it may sound innocent, it is deadly to those ensnared in its addictive grip. It seduces faithful Christians—even pastors and administrators—into abdicating control of their minds to devilish spirits warned against in 1 Timothy 4:1. In this seminar, learn what contemplative prayer is, how it works, where it came from (its roots and sources), its deadly dangers, and how to avoid them!

HOWARD PETH was born in Chicago and has lived his adult life in Southern California. With degrees from UCLA and USC, he taught for 42 years, including 31 years at Mt. THE FORMULA FOR CHRISTLIKENESS

We have clearly been told that in order for us to finish the work, make it through the final crisis, and stand before the Son of man when He comes, we must reflect the image of Jesus fully. In this seminar, we will study a practical approach on making this high standard attainable. In a time when all the world will wonder after the beast, we will examine how we will be counted amongst the faithful.

DWAYNE LEMON is an ordained elder in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is the director of PTH Ministries. The Lord delivered Brother Lemon from a life of entertainment in the hip hop and rhythm & blues cultures to serve God's people as a full-time gospel worker in the realm of preaching, teaching, and healing through God's health message. The burden of Elder Lemon's ministry is practical godliness in light of last day events.
