RATES & REGISTRATION
All attendees, exhibitors, and exhibitor assistants must register. Please read all of the information below that pertains to your status and rate as an attendee or exhibitor before completing the registration process. In addition to the rates, registration, and general policies below, more information and links are available on the 2014 Exhibitors page. You may download the paper registration form for additional information (link below). Contact Exhibit Services Inc. for important dates/times, full exhibitor kit, shipping, electricity, A/V, Internet, equipment rental, cooking, sampling, storage and more. Online registration is available through midnight Tuesday, Aug. 5. After that, please plan to register onsite beginning Wednesday, Aug. 6. at 8:00 a.m. (see Onsite Registration Hours, Attendees, Exhibitors, and General Information below).
Volunteers: Each year, ASI relies on the valuable help of volunteers who are willing to donate their time and energies to making the convention a success. If you are a registered attendee and would like to serve as a convention volunteer, please fill out the volunteer application at the link below. Free registration and meals ARE NOT provided in return for volunteer service. Each year, ASI relies on support from registered volunteers to help defray overall convention costs, a benefit that is passed on to all who register and attend. Thank you!

ONSITE REGISTRATION HOURS
The onsite convention Registration Desk will be open only during the hours listed below. Please take care of all meal purchases and registration-related matters during these hours. Thank you!
Wednesday - 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Thursday - 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Friday - 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
The registration desk will not be open on Friday evening or all day Sabbath.
The phone number for the onsite Registration Desk is (616) 742-8001. This number is valid only from Tuesday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 8, 2014. If no one answers during that time, please leave a message and someone will return your call in a timely manner.

Advance Registration Rates: Paper registration must be received in the ASI office no later than July 15 (do not mail paper registration forms after July 12). Online registration will continue through August 5, 2014. Registration changes or substitutions after July 15 must be made on-site at the convention. Letters of Invitation for attendees coming from outside the United States cannot be issued after June 2, 2014.
Member Rates: To register at member rates, ASI membership must have been approved before June 10, 2014, and membership dues must be up to date including 2014. Membership discount rates apply only to registration and do not apply to meals.
Before Registering: Please read all items under General Information below, which apply both to attendees and exhibitors before you complete the registration process. Registration links are at the bottom of this page.
**Children 2 years old and under eat free and can attend meetings with no charge. However, childcare nursery services are $100.00 per child for the entire event.**
Registration Includes: The first exhibitor space registration includes one primary exhibitor registration (all meetings), one meal packet (7 vegetarian/vegan meals), and one assistant registration (meals not included).
Space Options: Three space options are offered.
Regular space — A single exhibit spaces beyond Quads and between End-cap spaces.
End-cap Space — A double space at the end of each row (14 double space End-caps available).
Quad Space — A separate four-space island at the front of each row and throughout the middle aisle of the exhibit hall (12 four-space Quads available).
Each exhibiting organization must register separately for booth space. An organization MAY NOT register for more than one space and share that space with other non-registered organizations. Non-registered exhibitors WILL NOT be permitted in the Exhibit Hall.

No attendee is registered and no exhibit space is reserved until registration fees have been PAID IN FULL. ASI reserves the right to deny an exhibitor's application or withdraw approval of an exhibitor at any time.
Member Rates: To register at member rates, ASI membership must have been approved before June 10, 2014, and membership dues must be up to date including 2014.
Meal Rates: There is no member discount rate for meals. Members and non-members pay the same negotiated meal prices.

Exhibitor Agreement: By registering as an exhibitor, you agree to the following:
- We understand that leased booth space(s) is for our use only and not to be sublet or shared with another person or entity.
- We agree not to engage in commercial or secular activities during Sabbath hours.
- We will promote a positive and supportive position toward ASI and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- We understand that solicitation of financial donations is limited to the exhibit hall.
- We understand that distribution of any promotional material is limited to the exhibit hall.
- We understand that ASI approval of our exhibitor application is not an endorsement of our product(s) or service(s).
- We understand that ASI is not responsible for damage or loss to our exhibit or belongings.
- We have read all exhibitor information, requirements, and commitments pertaining to exhibitors and registration and agree to comply.
- We have read and agree to the ASI Cancellation Policy.
- We will not serve food or drink samples or sell bulk food at the convention without obtaining prior approval.
Before Registering: Visit the Exhibitor Information (forthcoming) page to access the Exhibitor Packet and shipping information, order electricity and additional booth supplies, and find out more information and links relevant to exhibitors, such as food samples and storage, important dates and times, audio-visual request form, and more. Accommodations: All attendees and exhibitors must arrange their own accommodations. Registration fees do not include lodging. Visit the Lodging & Transportation page for more information on convention hotels and transportation.
Cancellation Policy: A 90% refund of paid registration fees will be given ONLY IF the request is made by e-mail or by fax to 301-622-5017, AND the request is auto-dated (by fax or e-mail) before midnight, Aug. 5, 2014. Cancellation refunds will be issued no later than 30 days after the convention.
Changes or Substitutions: Pre-convention registration changes or substitutions must be made by July 15, 2014. Changes or substitutions after July 15 must be made on-site at the convention starting August 6, 2014.
Dining Hall / Outside Food & Beverage: Food and beverages served in the dining hall must be consumed in the dining hall and may not be removed. No outside food and beverages may be brought into the Exhibit Hall or Meeting Rooms.
Emergency & Public Safety: In case of a medical emergency call 911. In the event of a non-medical emergency proceed to the First-aid station. The First-aid station is located in the Grand Gallery service corridor and is staffed with qualified personnel. Immediately report any injury and/or accident that occurs or first aid that is rendered to an attendee during the convention by calling the non-medical emergency number - (616) 742-6640.
Gratuities: Devos Place policy strictly prohibits any Convention Center employee from accepting any gifts, gratuities, loans, favors, or any other items of value from parties doing business with the Convention Center.
Identification Badges: All attendees, exhibitors, and exhibitor assistants must wear ASI-issued identification badges while attending general sessions, seminars, exhibit hall and youth programs. Identification badges are provided to registered attendees, exhibitors, and exhibitor assistants at the convention registration desk. Local guests may attend evening meetings, evening exhibits, and all day Sabbath without identification badges. Badges will be checked by convention attendants at the entrance to the main session hall, exhibit hall and seminar rooms.
Letters of Invitation: Registered attendees who require a visa to enter the United States may request a Letter of Invitation online (link below). Letters of Invitation for the 2014 ASI International Convention cannot be issued after June 2, 2014. A copy of denial letter or other proof of visa denial from the United States Embassy or Consulate must be submitted with any request for a cancellation refund.

Local Guests: Local guests who do not have travel distances that require overnight stays may attend Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evening sessions and Sabbath programs (all day) for free. No on-site registration for local guests is required. Adult seminars and day programs for children and youth on Thursday and Friday are open only to those who have registered and paid as regular convention attendees. Local guests should not drop their children off during those time periods without first purchasing regular registration both for themselves and for their children or youth.
Meals & Local Attendance: Meals may be purchased with registration, but the cost of meals is not included in the registration rate. Membership discount rates apply only to registration and do not apply to meals. A meal packet includes 7 meals: breakfast and supper on Thursday and Friday; and breakfast, lunch, and supper on Sabbath. Individual meals may also be purchased with registration. Local Grand Rapids area guests who attend evening or Sabbath meetings should be prepared to show photo ID (driver's license) upon request. Onsite Registration: Onsite registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014. The ASI registration staff request that Exhibitors register onsite before noon on Wednesday, and Attendees register onsite in the afternoon and evening to streamline the registration process.
Public Space Facility Furniture: The lounge furniture and/or plants located throughout the public areas in the facility are not designed to be moved.
Sign Hanging & Ceiling Rigging: No signs, banners, or similar items are to be affixed to the Exhibit Hall, General Session, or Convention Center walls, or any surface throughout the building.
Stickers, Helium Balloons, Confetti & Knives: The use or distribution of stickers, helium balloons, confetti, and knives is not permitted at the Convention Center.
