The 2012 ASI International Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio will feature a wide variety of useful and challenging seminars on topics such as evangelism, home & family, spiritual growth, business and nonprofit concerns, and much more.
SPECIAL PRE-CONVENTION OPPORTUNITY: ASI is partnering with Philanthropic Service for Institutions (PSI), a department of the North American Division, and The Fund Raising School at Indiana University to provide a special pre-convention opportunity for ASI ministries to learn the basics of fundraising. This customized and accredited course entitled "Principles & Techniques of Fundraising" will be taught by handpicked instructors who are intimately aware of the unique challenges and opportunities facing small Adventist ministries. If taken at Indiana University, the cost of the course would be $1,400. But through the combined efforts of ASI and PSI, the course will be offered to ASI convention attendees at just a little more than one-third the normal cost. The course will be taught in Cincinnati, just prior to the 2012 ASI International Convention, from Sunday, Aug. 5, through Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012. Each participant must be present at all sessions to qualify for a course completion certificate. For further information about the course, visit The Fundraising School website. Each participant is responsible for their own travel and lodging. To register, e-mail Lorena Hernandez.

HOPE & HEALTH IN A POSTMODERN WORLD:
EVANGELISM IN AN ERA OF MEANINGLESSNESS
This seminar addresses how the church can move beyond presenting an endless round of random, poorly-organized events that do not lead to solid decisions for Christ. Participants will learn how to conduct health evangelism in a way that unites the church; learn how to win those in the church and in the community who are discouraged or unmotivated; discover how to implement solid organizational methods; and explore how health ministry can empower and strengthen the church and bring healing to hurting lives.

HOME—THE SWEETEST TYPE OF HEAVEN

Learn from the presenters and their children how to establish or regain footing in making your family and home a symbol of the family in heaven, as well as how to maintain peace and personal joy while facing the rigors of parenting and being parented. This seminar is all about hope.
