Winners of the 2009 netPrize contest were named during the Global Internet Evangelism Network Conference in Orlando, Fla., this month.
The grand prize went to the Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and was received by Alicia Adams, associate director of communications and editor of the Pacific Union Recorder. The Pacific Union Conference sponsored the development of PublAssist, a publishing content management system for both Web and print.
TAGnet and ASI partnered to sponsor the netPrize contest. Both are lay organizations that support the global mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The contest is designed to encourage innovative development of mission-focused Web applications compatible with the netAdventist software platform.
TAGnet originally developed the netAdventist Web platform and gifted it to the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to further the development of the Adventist global communications network.
