ASI chapter forming in Croatia, Europe
Adventist entrepreneurs and business people in Croatia are on track to establish the next ASI chapter in Europe.
On Sabbath afternoon, April 3, 2010, 25 Adventist businessmen and women met in Zagreb to hear a presentation about ASI. Their passion for the Adventist movement inspired them to want to know more about ASI's principles, activities and mission. The report addressed how ASI members are making a difference worldwide by rallying behind the mission of the Adventist Church.
ASI's motto, "Sharing Christ in the Marketplace," resonates with entrepreneurs around the world who sense a calling to leave their comfort zones and start acting—now. The participants in Croatia exhibited remarkable interest in forming a local ASI chapter.
The Adriatic Union president, Pastor Branko Bistrovik, served as host and translator for the event, sharing his own vision for establishing an ASI chapter in Croatia. At the end of the meeting, a setup committee was elected, entrusting six Adventist business people with the goal to establish ASI Croatia within the next three to five months.
