Reaching Hearts International has partnered with Adventist church leadership in northeast Brazil to carry out a broad evangelistic goal. Recently, local church leaders set a six-year target of reaching 700 communities in the region that currently have no Adventist presence—and they have asked Reaching Hearts to be part of that effort.
Currently, Reaching Hearts is in the process of establishing a school of evangelism in northeast Brazil, which would accommodate 20 students at each quarterly training session. However, church leaders have requested that that number be raised to 50, and have asked that the school of evangelism be operational by September.
In return church leaders have committed to employ graduating students to conduct evangelism and outreach in the 700 unreached communities, and to help supply instructors for the school.
