Last night (Thursday, August, 27), Will Pergerson, the young evangelist for 1888 Glad Tidings Publishers Ministry, was killed in a private single engine plane crash in Battle Creek Michigan shortly after takeoff. It was his private plane and he was the pilot and the only one on board. He was in Battle Creek to put the final touches on an evangelistic series he was to hold in the Battle Creek church next week.
This is a huge loss to the ministry and to the church. Let us keep his wife and two teenage children in prayer as we hold fast to the promise in 1 Thess 4:16-17:
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
